To inspire and enable the youth of our community, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. The Vacaville Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club is recognized as the premier youth development organization in our community.


      The Tour de Cure is a series of fundraising cycling events held in 44 states nationwide to benefit the American Diabetes Association. The Tour de Cure offers cyclists the opportunity to experience the beauty of Wine Country in spring bloom. Riders of all abilities may choose one of five offered rides from a 10-mile back roads residential ride to a more challenging 100-mile Century route that will take riders out to beautiful Alexander Valley in Sonoma County.


      The Police Activities League (PAL) is a national non-profit organization that builds the bonds between cops and kids by encouraging positive interactions through a variety of enriching activities. Vacaville PAL is a local chapter dedicated to this purpose.


      The Downtown Vacaville Business Improvement District (DVBID) is dedicated to the enhancement, promotion, and preservation of Downtown Vacaville. The organization supports both the private and public business community and provides support, education and opportunities to its members. The Downtown business and property owners join together for the common good of Downtown Vacaville and demonstrate a united front on issues affecting association members. The DVBID consists of over 450+ members. Downtown Vacaville provides a unique atmosphere with a historical perspective.


      Since it's inception Opportunity House has helped thousands achieve their goal of self-sufficiency. We have exceeded capacity and the diversity of needs has continued to grow with the population we serve.The "umbrella" of services we hope to provide include more transitional and alternative housing, more supportive services, a mentoring program and volunteer programs. We also serve a homeless assistance center, providing an essential gateway to services offered throughout our community.



      The Vacaville Museum, a Center for Solano County History, is the only institution whose mission includes cultural and historical preservation for all of Solano County. Through exhibits, publications and educational programs, the Museum continuously promotes the value of community heritage. Since 1984, Vacaville Museum has produced 40 exhibits, as well as numerous publications important to the history and sense of place of Solano County.



      NorthBay Healthcare Foundation’s Solano Wine & Food Jubilee has become Solano County’s premiere fund-raising event, held every April to support the programs and services of NorthBay Hospice & Bereavement. Funds raised at the event help make possible an array of vital programs, including hospice care, bereavement support groups and community outreach.



      In 1998, recognizing that many people struggling with addiction needed more than “three hots and a cot”, Mission SOLANO Rescue Mission focused its vision to develop long-term residential treatment for homeless addicted men, women, and Veterans. Since then, Mission SOLANO has successfully met the basic necessities of the homeless and poverty stricken population. Our unique and nationally recognized Nomadic Sheltering Program provides emergency shelter nights to those in need, while maintaining and managing our Community Outreach Center (COC) and Social Industries distributing food, clothing and ongoing community services. In 2009 we opened our Bridge To Life Center, our long-term solution to homelessness. Through transitional housing and a holistic program, we address spiritual, physical, emotional, psychosocial and vocational needs.



      The sounds of music, laughter, and applause resound as the Theatre is used by more and more groups and organizations in the community. On Stage Vacaville seeks to find ways to bring new ideas and programming to the Theatre, to reach out to even more community groups, and to expand our means of informing Vacaville and the surrounding area about the outstanding programming at the Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre.



      Our mission is to provide assistance and resources to women in our local community affected by cancer.  We offer temporary financial assistance to women who have experienced a financial hardship during their cancer treatments and need help paying for basic living expenses.  SMSF also promotes breast health and early detection, providing mammogram sponsorships to under-insured women.
